The 8.0.11178 version brings the following new features:

[Analyst / Expert] DataComposer: workflow

To help you prepare your data ever more quickly and clearly, discover our new workflow available in addition to the usual sequence.

To access it, simply click on the icon  

You can also enlarge the working area by clicking on the border to the left of the sequence.

You can also display the workflow across its entire width by clicking on the button to the left of the title.

Here are a few things you need to know to make using this new workflow easier:

• Scroll wheel :
  • Vertical scrolling
  • + shift key: scroll horizontally
  • + ctrl key: zoom in/out
• Right-hand toolbar :
  • Adjust view
  • Change link type (default is curves)
  • Change table type (visible tables by default)
• First click on a table: select
• Second click on a table: move the table
• Click on buttons (+): add transformations
• Click on the (x) button: delete a transformation and its dependencies

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer module: the module takes the name of the selected table

To make it easier for you to read your organisation chart, the DataComposer module will now automatically take the name of the table you select in its parameters.

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer : Join on any column

This was one of your suggestions: DataComposer now lets you make a join between 2 tables from any column, whether text or numeric.

[Analyst/Expert] Articque DataMarket: Base Immobilier France available as an option

You can now access geographic data on real estate and housing. Access to the Base Immobilier France is optional. For further information, please contact your sales department.

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer: access zone and road distance

It is now possible to specify a day of the week and a time of day to take account of road traffic in your road journey time calculations (Distances, Access zone and Atlas selections functions). Essential for more accurate road calculations or for testing different scenarios.

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer: partial deletion of operations from a sequence

This was one of your main requests: in DataComposer, deleting an operation only impacts the following elements linked to this operation and not the whole sequence as was previously the case.

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer: test samples

To enable you to test your operations even more quickly, it is now possible to load only part of your data. To do this, click on the ‘Test sample’ icon and select the number of rows you want to work on.

DataComposer continues its transformation by adding counting support to the corporate database.

A « Geometries » column is now available from your Articque DataMarket import, enabling you to retrieve related spatial data.

In standard mode, when you create an Atlas with in-depth navigation, it is now possible to select the qualitative filter directly for data from a DataComposer module, in the same way as for data from an Articque Data Market module.

[Analyst/Expert] DataComposer: distance matrices by road

• Road calculation has been added to distance matrices.
• Note: the radius limit is still possible, but remains as the crow flies.

[Analyst / Expert] Image exports: high resolution now available

You can now export images in high definition, with a new setting that lets you choose the resolution from 72 to 600 dpi. The default resolution is 150 dpi, up from 94 dpi.

[Analyst/Expert] Exports: additional scripting

• New option for incorporating a value from a data table into text
  • Already existed: @ModuleName@column(idx)@value(« rowId »)
  • New: @ModuleName@column(idx)@value(« rowId ») @ModuleName@column(idx)@value(rowIdx)
• So it’s no longer necessary to know the id, you can retrieve the first value of a column. This is useful after a filter, a pole selection… which varies in a multi-map or an atlas.
